JUDGING CRITERIA
Competition entries will be judged by a panel of judges with the following criteria.
1. Relevance to the theme of Street Photography
How well you've understood the concept of Street Photography.
2. Technical execution
How well you've captured the image in terms of exposure and focus.
3. Originality
How well you've translated your vision into an image. This is a test of your 'eye' as a photographer.
4. Composition
How well the elements within your image are framed as a 'complete' photograph.
Judging Rounds
There will be 2 rounds of judging though which your image(s) must pass to win.
1. Shortlist Round
All images will be judged in this preliminary shortlist round. The best 20 images will go on to the Finalist Round of judging.
2. Finalist Round
From the best 20 images the Judges will select and award the 1st and 2nd prize winners. A people’s choice award will also be selected from our Facebook Fan Page - to learn more about this and to become a fan please go to The Canon Powershot S90 Street Photography Challenge Facebook Fanpage.
