Tilt-type LCD Monitor

The large LCD screen tilts up to 180° upwards and 45° downwards, convenient for shooting from unconventional angles as well as for self-portraiture. It also operates as a touchscreen, allowing quick, intuitive control over focusing, selection of AF points and areas, as well as over other menu settings and configurations. The centre of the LCD screen is aligned with the optical axis of the lens for ease in framing and composition, even for high or low angle shots.

Wi-Fi/NFC & Bluetooth Low Energy Technologies

A number of wireless connectivity options are available on the EOS M6. Pair your camera with your smartphone through Wi-Fi/NFC using the free Camera Connect smartphone app, and you will be able to use your smartphone to remotely browse and transfer image and video files, share them on social media, as well as carry out remote shooting. Meanwhile, Bluetooth low energy technology provides an energy-saving constant connection between camera and smartphone, so that you only need to pair the devices once to enjoy automatic, hassle-free automatic connection on subsequent occasions.

Full HD 50p/60p Movies; 5-axis Image Stabilisation

As the EOS M6 uses a relatively large, APS-C format sensor, it is easily capable of shooting images with creamy bokeh quality, and also can shoot at high ISO speeds with minimal noise.
It features EOS Movies, where you can shoot high quality videos at Full HD 50p/60p. Dual Pixel CMOS AF, which is well-reputed even among professionals in the filmmaking industry, brings its superb focus tracking performance and seamless AF into movie shooting, ensuring that focus is always accurately maintained on moving subjects. The built-in 5-axis image stabiliser corrects camera shake to a high degree of precision, providing stable images even when a lens that has no built-in image stabiliser is attached.
